Head of the Breast Competence Center Kepler University Hospital
After completing his medical studies in Innsbruck, lecturer Schrenk completed his training as a general practitioner and specialist in surgery at Linz General Hospital and has been a senior physician in the 2nd Department of Surgery since 1997.
His habilitation in surgery at the University of Vienna was on breast carcinoma and sentinel lymph nodes, and his scientific activities include 170 lectures in Austria and abroad and the publication of 32 scientific papers with impact points.
He is a member of various medical and surgical societies and vice president of the Cancer Aid Upper Austria. Since 1995, he has specialized in female breast surgery, which includes tumor surgery (removal of benign and malignant lumps), plastic reconstructive surgery (reconstruction of the breast, compensation of tissue defects) and aesthetic surgery (augmentation, reduction, tightening and malformations).
